About Peter Zonis

Over the past ten Years, Peter Zonis has catapulted from a struggling artist working at the MoMA bookstore, to an art maverick whose works are sought after by celebrities and high end restaurants. His big occurred when his manager, Elle Petrinic, insisted that he drop everything to paint the famous Bull Statue on Wall Street. After completing and eventually selling the painting, Elle, who Peter credits for his success, persuaded him to start selling his work on the street in front of Barneys on Madison Ave. Since then he has painted renditions of New York City landmarks that have graced the homes and businesses of some of the biggest names in the city including Robert DeNiro, David Letterman, Patricia Cromwell and Joe Namath. His work can also be seen in some of the city's best restaurants including Nello, La Goulue and Orsay.

Peter Zonis' depictions of local landmarks and his use of open space to promote his craft help to highlight the beauty of our city and the importance of the arts.
